Collet sizes 3.175mm, 4mm and 6mm have be specifically manufactured for Adam's Bits with a high degree of run out tolerance and then individually tested for centricity. This is one item were aftermarket performs better than genuine!

Opens a world of options
Being able to access the 6mm range of bits is awesome. This collet pops in and out easily of my 18V Makita trim router... Just getting the original 1/4 inch one out in the first place is a pain in the backside!

8mm Collet for Makita RT0700
Does the job for a reasonable price. Good concentricity and fit into the router chuck. Initially, a slight burr on the inside edge at the base of the collet prevented my router bit from sliding freely all the way through the collet, however this was easily remedied with a couple of twists with a countersink bit. Very happy with my purchase.
