    Roughing end mill

    Hands down the best money i have spent on investing in equipment for my mill. These end mills are only limited in What they can do by the rigidity of your machine. The roughing mill in particular is good for lighter machines, allowing faster material removal. Used on mild steel and cast iron, these were so much better than the HSS i had been using. End cutting with a 16mm end mill running at 1200rpm and feeding at approximately 200mm/min with 2mm DOC, the limitation was my machine. Side cutting with 25mm engagement and .5mm DOC, same speeds and feeds, Again limited by my machine. So far no signs of wear. Thanks Adam!

    A high quality end mill, it is being used on a manual machine. The surface finish is great for a roughing mill. I will purchase more.

    I highly recommend this bit, I've used in wood and it leaves a clean cut and is very quiet compared to HSS the same size

    Roughing end mill

    The 14mm roughing end mill I got is perfect for ripping metal off edges of blocks. On my relatively small 240V machine vibration and time required on task is greatly reduced. These cost a bit more than normal mills but are good value.
