Used in sign-making and detail work, V-bits are great for carving intricate engravings on a wide range of materials. V-bits add depth and dimension where the same result cannot be achieved with a flat bit. Adam’s Tips
The sharper the angle the more likely you have a chance of chipping the tip. This is less likely on timbers but almost certain on metals. If you do cut on metals, use a bit of cutting fluid/ lubricant to achieve a cleaner finish. V-bits like to be run shallow but can be feed relatively fast.

Decent Bit for PCB Engraving
Produces nice cuts on circuit boards, they do break however.. buy a few.

Favorite Go-To
Admittedly, I've broken my share of 20 degree bits, but someone new to CNC, Adam's twin flute V-bits make breaking bits a lot less stressful. I push my 30° bits pretty hard, but they just keep going and going, and the 20° bits produce some amazing details. Love my twin-flute V-bits
