ER Collets
ER spring collets for CNC router and mill spindles, ground to ultra high precision with 0.005mm (5 micron) runout. Low runout means every flute cuts, which gives a better finish and longer tool life, and stops small bits snapping.
- ER11 for small spindles and 1/8" to 1/4" bits.
- ER16 and ER20 for 800W to 2.2kW spindles.
- ER25 and ER32 for larger spindles, ATC tool holders and 1/2" shank bits.
Match the ER size to your spindle nut, then pick the collet bore to match your bit shank exactly. A collet grips best within 0.5mm of its nominal size, so use a dedicated 6.35mm collet for 1/4" shanks rather than a 6mm.
