Adam's Tip
A worn collet is the most common cause of chatter and broken bits. Clean the collet and the taper every bit change, and don't over-tighten the nut on an empty collet.

The collet range is much better now then that it was a yesr ago. From 1/8 to 1/2 inch and all the sizes in between! So far the collet holds up to the pushiment that all cnc programmers and operators put these components through. Adams Bits has been the best supplier of consumables!! Don't just take my word for it give them a go for yourself

I received both collets. I found one (3.175) so tight that I could not insert the end mill. I contacted Adam about the issue, and it was replaced promptly without any bother. I would shop here again.
