Replaceable Insert Router Bits Spoilboard Leveller

Flatten your spoilboard fast and keep it that way! This spoilboard leveller uses replaceable carbide inserts, so when an edge finally dulls, you just rotate or swap the insert rather than replacing (or re-sharpening) the whole bit.

With a wide cutting diameter, it clears large flat areas in far fewer passes than a standard end mill, leaving a clean, even surface ready for your next job.

NOTE: Effective cutting diameter is the tip to tip diameter of cut/levelling created at +-0.5mm

Adam's tips

• Take light passes and work in overlapping rows for the flattest possible result
• Run at a lower RPM and higher feed rate than you would with a small diameter bit — this is a bulk-removal tool, not a finishing one
• Vacuum or blow away dust regularly during surfacing so you can see your pass coverage
• Rotate or replace inserts as soon as you notice fuzzy edges or increased burning — a dull insert will tear rather than cut
• Loosen the insert screw fully before rotating/swapping, and don't overtighten on reassembly
