Router Bits for Foam
Foam is easy to cut and hard to cut well: standard bits are too short for thick blanks and leave a torn surface. These cutters have long cutting lengths and sharp, open geometry for XPS and EPS foam, polystyrene, surfboard blanks, props and packaging.
- Extra long spiral up cut for profiling blanks up to 150mm thick.
- Extra long ball nose for deep 3D carving.
- CARBiTOOL 3 flute polystyrene bit for surfboard and upholstery foam on a 57mm cutting length.
Foam needs high feed and moderate RPM; a slow feed melts the surface. Dust extraction is essential, foam dust goes everywhere.
