Router Bits for ACM, Composites & Signage
Composite and sign materials each have a quirk: aluminium composite panel wants a clean top skin, fibreglass and carbon fibre shred carbide, and sign board needs crisp V-carved lettering. These are the bits that handle each.
- ACM / Dibond / ACP: 1 flute down cut for burr-free through cuts, and the panel folding V bit in 90°, 108°, 120° and 135° for routed folds.
- PCB, phenolic, fibreglass, carbon fibre: PCB corn cutters, whose diamond-pattern edge chews abrasive laminates without delaminating.
- Sign lettering and engraving: V bits, insert V bits for wide V grooves, V router bits, and a diamond drag engraver for metal and glass.
- EVA foam decking: dedicated round over and V bits.
