WINSTAR ENSCS is the long series version of the WINSTAR 3 flute aluminium end mill, with cutting lengths from 20mm up to 55mm. Reach for it when you need to profile thick aluminium plate in one pass, finish a deep pocket wall, or clear a fixture without the shank rubbing. It keeps the same high helix, polished flute geometry as the standard length cutters.
Dedicated to the processing of non-ferrous metals, aluminium, aluminium alloys, copper (HRC <20). Large helix angle for excellent results when finishing at high cutting speed. Polished and sharp cutting edge with high feed ensures excellent chip removal.
Sizes 4mm to 10mm, up to 100mm overall. Long tools deflect more, so reduce the width of cut and step down rather than slowing the feed; the Feeds & Speeds Guide covers this.
